If you do some simple maths you will know he only made around 200 grand last year.

BTW this 'new' idea is old. I remember a website like a tree and each leaf was an ad. There were many hundreds of leaves but the odd one was a winning ticket. Click them all (visiting the advertisers) and you'd find one and win.

Sounds like a not so original rip to me.

With his name, and just a small little twist, his next 1 or 2 projects will probably be a success anyway. Like a painter or photographer for example... if you have some fame, you'll be assured for a while.

Wtf is this, so he's gonna just make a new one after another after the current one sold out. What a rip off of the advertisers money. He should be sued.

If you want to be rich, give people a reason to give you money.

I've already spent $x,xxx on the new MDHP.. It's filling in fast and with the budget he has for promoting it, I think everybody who gets in early will more than make back their investment.

No lotto element in this... I'm not rich enough to give away $10,000 - and, I'm not sure if that would be legal anyway. I have thought about giving away prizes at various levels...... how about a Tickle Me Elmo T.M.X.? :D

I know... but everyone who tried to directly copy his approach failed... I'm filling the need for people who want cheapo pixels.

Funny thing is I do seem to be getting error traffic because of the typo. I'm sure the media will screw up a few times.

Alex Tew, founder of the very successful million dollar homepage (.com) has started a new site which he hinted at in his blog a few months ago

The site is pixelotto.com and people are actually going to earn money, hes giving away $1m

In an email from alex to those who purchased a spot on his last site:

I don't think this will be as successful. Whats the point of advertising if the traffic you get is based on encouraging the user to click on ads to win $1M..."drive by traffic" ... anyways it will be interesting to see the execution of it.
    :)

Actually, if you and i did something like this, it might not have been successful, but since, this guy has created the hype with million dollar homepage, therefore, this site will have the added advantage, of the already created popularity and hype, and maybe, it will be as successful as the million dollar homepage.

I read about this yesterday... I think it will become more successful than the original. The idea is unique, for the most part. But it's still using the same basic principles behind it - as well as the same Advertisers who probably benefited huge from the original.

This one will get more promo from Blogs and other sites... and it's for a good cause. I hope it's ALOT more successful.

whoever said this will work because of his existing success/fame/hype is absolutely right.

Now i'm not claiming we marketed it right, but awhile back I started up www.milliondollarcashpage.com which I think is a pretty good system and idea. It never took off. If anyone's still interested in coming up with a bit more capital that can promote this thing, the system works and is in place, we just don't have the cash to do the proper marketing for it.

I did most of the coding myself, it's even setup to take payments via paypal already. Seriously, if anyone's interested, PM me and we can discuss it further. I can set you up a demo account, etc. so you can get a sense of it all. We just don't have the cash required to start the marketing (press releases, etc.).

    www.milliondollarcashpage.com

BTW, this was started LONG before this other guy started his second site.
