    i am using alertra spotcheck to test some of the webhosts
    Most give me test results from various places in the world
    However when i test some hong kong webhosts , there is only a "hong kong test "result
    Why?

    Most likely because the host has ping and traceroute blocked so you cannot reach them in this manner.
