AlertPay or MoneyBooker... Which one is good?

Hi everyone

I want to use payment solutions other than paypal. Since, paypal is not supported in Pakistan.

I am looking for alertpay or moneybooker. Do any one of you have any idea of these two payment solution services? Which of these in your opinion is good? Do they support payments via credit card?

 

Using MoneyBookers you can pay someone in USA.
AlertPay does not have such restrictions.

Also, AlertPay has lower fees than MoneyBookers.

Personally I use AlertPay.

Don't be put off by the "older stuff" you can still see around about them, saying they're a bit unreliable and their customer service isn't great. This has really changed over the last couple of years. They're very good now, they're really trying to give PayPal a run for their money, I think. Over the last year they've been a real pleasure to use.

I do have a Moneybookers account as well, but have stopped using it because I strongly prefer AlertPay. I hear (recently, and in many places) that Moneybookers is ok until something goes wrong or until there's a problem, but their idea of customer service is dreadful and it can take over a week to get a reply to an email.

 

I think Its better you create both MoneyBookers and AlertPay then you can make transactions with more people.

For Bangladesh, Pakistan PP not support county and alertpay is not popular so MB is best.

 

I'd go with moneybookers. I have been using them since 2005 and never had a problem, even with the address verification.

My personal suggestion go with Moneybookers. But never make any suspicious transactions otherwise your account will be suspended and Moneybookers will not pay you even a penny. Using alertpay you can get a check of your earnings but it will consume a lot of time and at the time of encashment of the foreign bank check you will face difficulty.

But using Moneybookers you can easily get your money through bank transfer using swift. That is most preferable and it saves time, fees and other difficulties.

Choosing a payment gateway will mainly depend on your job and the sites for which you are working.

 

I have never used MB but I am currently using AlerTPay. I really hate Paypal and i think Alertpay is the best alternative..

 

Use alertpay for following reasons

1. Website is friendly
2. It's more trusted and accepted by more companies for payment
3. Charges are reasonable
4. Easy to use

 

Why not use both? Or go with a Flex ePayment account which accepts either through one Buy Now button?

 

This question is a trick question.. I am really confused lol.. Why not use both? Both are reputed and trusted. I guess Moneybookers takes less fees so I would go for MB!

 

Alertpay is much better.

have no luck make account for myself at alertpay. not sure does it my local problem or their but i prefer using mb at the moment.

 

Thank you all for your suggestions. Now what I have concluded is that I should provide both AlertPay and MB options. This way the payment process will be flexible for my users.

 

Alertpay and Moneybookers are the same thing. 50% <> 50%

 

I got the same problem here I need an alternative to use in my website so I've contacted MoneyBooker to make sure that I can safely use their service in my website(before I actually add them as payment option) but the support blocked my account so I'd go with AlertPay they have much more friendly and faster support and better service
