Alert!!! Scam Email In Gmail

    Today i recieved the following email:

    its from this email:
    and the subject is: Gmail Team Remove Gmail Account Verification

    I had read in Gmail help what is the option to delete my account and now i am sure that i did not do that. Also i think that no one can delete my account because he must be logged to do that.

    And when i look at the url provided in the mail ... hmmm .... dont think its googles

    And the Who is info

    seems it's a scam. using a email client or php mail any one can set any email address as "from" email

    haven't you heard of phishing scams ?
    These site will ask you to enter your email/password and gain access to your details. Its a major threat to all paypal users.

    Sure it is. Look in the link. The email address is in there. It's confirming working gmail addresses that are actually read by someone.

    It's a type of phish.

    I get many tricky msgs like this sometimes.. never got something like this exactly...
