Thanks for sending a report to Google. Now that you've done your good deed for the day, feel free to:

    1. Take a second to rejoice merrily for doing your part in making the web a safer place.

    2. Call/email/write to a neighbor/friend/relative and tell them what phishing is and how they can protect themselves.

    3. Check out other extensions for Firefox from Google.

    4. Spread the love by joining the Spread Firefox community.

This is pretty common phishing technique.

Not only for gmail but also for my swiss bank account login information.

People, in general, often overlook those phished pages. The clue is not only in their english, but also in the url. But still, I guess, they have phished some account.

I took an initiative last night. I logged on to hostgator.com and started live chat with a help desk person. I told him the entire story and mentioned that, the email was mailed by hostgator server. They assured me, they will take proper legal action. I think, I've done atleast something to keep the internet safe and clean.

I received an infraction for posting the message in wrong category. I'm extremely sorry for my mistake. I thought, the category, where the msg was posted is most popular in digital point and most of the members visit the category. Now, this was not a help seeking thread, not an advertisement thread, and I never asked anything for personal benefit. I just wanted to alert the most number of internet users about the phising. I had no other intension.
