Alcohol

So the Adsense TOS says that you can't sell or promote the sale of alcohol. Does that also include alcohol memorabilia, like beer steins, whisky jugs, and bar mirrors that have brewery logos on them?

    Cheers! :)

You should make a thread and send them an email at the same time. Time flys.
And this is a complicated question and Big daddy Google knows best :)

I got a reply today. :) They said to check out the the Adsense policy page, help center, and forum.

How weird is that? With the huge amount of alcohol memorabilia out there, they should have answered this long before now.

I was going to ask the same thing when I saw this post. I'm working on a Beer review site, not sales or promotion. Informational really. Some say its OK, others no.

Anyway, I emailed Google and they told me to use my best judgment. I'm going to hold-off and try something else with the site and not chance it for now.

Its a gray area I think.

    isn't beer review promotion? ;)
sometimes it better to give them a link and ask if it is appropriate to have adsense on it, instead of just asking if this is ok.

I did exactly that. I emailed them with a link - they said use common sense.

I'm not going to take the chance!

I think you should contact adsense support about this.
