You never saw what Pakistan is doing against terrorism? Despite the fact what religion terrorists claim to belong?
Pakistan, SA and many other Muslim countries have strongly condemned the terrorism (again, whatever religion terrorists claim to belong) in open words. Whether its 9/11 or 7/7 .. We have condemned on govt. levels.
I am amazed if you never noticed that.

We have been doing both, it had not solved the issue yet.

You want me to tell you what will solve the issue, frankly?
If US Govt. stop intrusion into other countries every now and then. It will really solve the problem.

I have a compiled list of 73 countries US have bombed, partially or fully invaded in last 60 years after WW2

And a list of more than 163 countries US have done military interventions since 1801.

What you bow is what you reap. US have been bowing since 1801 and its time to reap.
    I'd call it Karma :)

Again, its purely a non-religious war you and terrorists are into. Both call each other terrorists.

For other people, both of you are terrorists. :)

I wish I could ask US Army and terrorists to leave our fucking planet and go somewhere else and fight.

In short, our (Muslims') condemn will not solve core issue but the way you deal with world outside US.

PS. I remember the saying of our loving Prophet PBUH, I'd like to add if you don't mind.
He said "Treat people the way you like to be treated."

And it was said more than 1400 years ago.

If the world start following only one line, there will be something more than just peace in the whole world.

Actually Christians who convert to other religions have a Fatwa on them. It's just that the church has lost the power to enforce that.

Btw. Whether that Malay girl was Muslim at some point is debatable. She certainly didn't "Convert".

Like I said, the world speaks for itself. You are a huge believer of the news, why don't you watch it for yourself.

I can recommend a few sites and channels:

There are: BBC, Sky News, CNN. I'm cure other members can reommend some more

That's simply not true. Using someone's personal web space to back up an assertion again?

Now leaving islam, that'll get you killed real quick, eh?

I don't think the American people are to blame as most were against this war.
I have lots of American friends living in the UK and they are great people. I also have lots of jewish friend who I studied with and still keep in touch. All of them think that what Bush did was wrong.

It's the US Goverment to blame not the people

Sources can be made up. All I can say to you is, what proof do you have that the sources you read are correct? You need to speak to people and not post like this on a forum. Speak to the people that have lost their loved ones and speak to the public face to face, not behind the Interent on a forum. Otherwise you will never know the truth

New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia - On Heresy

The burning of heretics was first decreed in the eleventh century. The Synod of Verona (1184) imposed on bishops the duty to search out the heretics in their dioceses and to hand them over to the secular power. Other synods, and the Fourth Lateran Council (1215) under Pope Innocent III, repeated and enforced this decree, especially the Synod of Toulouse (1229), which established inquisitors in every parish (one priest and two laymen). Everyone was bound to denounce heretics, the names of the witnesses were kept secret; after 1243, when Innocent IV sanctioned the laws of Emperor Frederick II and of Louis IX against heretics, torture was applied in trials; the guilty persons were delivered up to the civil authorities and actually burnt at the stake. Paul III (1542) established, and Sixtus V organized, the Roman Congregation of the Inquisition, or Holy Office, a regular court of justice for dealing with heresy and heretics (see ROMAN CONGREGATIONS). The Congregation of the Index, instituted by St. Pius V, has for its province the care of faith and morals in literature; it proceeds against printed matter very much as the Holy Office proceeds against persons (see INDEX OF PROHIBITED BOOKS). The present pope [1909], Pius X, has decreed the establishment in every diocese of a board of censors and of a vigilance committee whose functions are to find out and report on writings and persons tainted with the heresy of Modernism (Encycl. "Pascendi", 8 Sept., 1907). The present-day legislation against heresy has lost nothing of its ancient severity; but the penalties on heretics are now only of the spiritual order; all the punishments which require the intervention of the secular arm have fallen into abeyance.

The highlighted part makes clear that the only reason the Church does not enforce the law against heresy is because the church has lost the secular power to enforce that law.

And you are doing a fine job of illustrating your own point.

May I offer you a slice of denial?

I never said Pakistan is not doing anything against terrorism. I am one of them who stood and applaused for Pakistan Govt's strict action against Radicals. And thats what I want to see in Iraq/Iran/Indonasia/Malaysia and all other countries.

But Pakistan is one country that provided its land for terrorist training.

That may be your opinion. Hate to burst your bubble, but Catholics do not represent the whole of Christians.

    Keep trying.

I did not give you any red at all. This is the difference, I am posting and debating and you have taken this all to heart because you know that I am posting the truth. You need to try and pull yourself out.

You have already digged your way too down. But I am still willing to help you. I can throw down a rope if you want me to pull you up. :)

Anyway, no hard feelings. This is a debate and I don't understand why so many people take this to heart. I don't. Come on, grow up.

By the way, hope you have a good holiday. Takecare :)
