Ajax Whois Domain Tool - Unique, Great Potential.

Hey guys, great sale today, I dont have time for the site anymore.

    Whois-it.info
Regged untill 9/9/08 via. Namecheap, free push.
Traffic, Almost none, approx. 10 uniques a day.
    No revenue
    Unique design, semi unique script.

The potential: Extremely unique script, I've shown a couple of my web designer friends and they absolutely love the usefulness of the site. You can earn money by turning those "register using netfirms / yahoo / godaddy / 1&1" with affiliate links and commission junction links, as well as selling links, or programs like money4banners. It is optimized to rank well in search enginges for "ajax, whois, domain lookup, find unregistered domains", and at one point, when I used to have time to work on it, it did very well. I am selling it because I have no time / money for it, and I am trying to get rid of all my sites, then focus on just one. The script is easy enough to figure out, you will get it easily, or ill help ya', no charge.

    Start Bid: 40$
Bin: 150$ (might be a bit out there, just putting a number out).

I have a reserve price set, when hit, I will end the auction in 48 hours.

Any other info needed, request it.

    Thanks,
    -Sean Pollock

Sorry for not monitoring the thread as much as I should have, was busy, which is partly the reason I am selling this site, haha.

You say it is "semi unique script" and "extremely unique script" Can you explain what exactly that means?

OK so what does semi unique script mean? Is this a script that requires a separate purchase to be properly licensed?

Yeah i'm a bit confused on that too. The domain's not too great, but obviously that could be changed.

i'm interested in this. script especially but domain also. couple of questions.

1.) the .org part search doesn't work.
2.) is it possible to display the whois information when a site is registered?
3.) can this search more then just .org .com .net? maybe even let user just type in site, eg. google.com (rather then just words)?

    @Thewaya

The .org part does work, just its just that the whois server it is currently checking against is getting a bit overloaded. It can be easily changed however.

It is possible to display the whois information when a site is registered.

It is possible to have other domains checked but the purpose of the script is not to have to search ".com", ".net". ".org" and etc, the point is to type in a word and check all the TLDs to find if one is avaliable.

i'll bid $40 if it can show whois info as well.

this is more a domain name availability checker then a whois as it currently is then, as whois is more about finding who owns a certain site. all good though :)

This is not a unique script. It is a free script that is all over the Internet. I have implemented this on one of my own sites, actually.

Hence why when you modify it, it is called semi-unique.

Thanks for making an idiot of yourself :).
