AJAX enabled web pages and Search Engines

    Hi,
I'm a quite new to the AJAX technology, but as far I can understand it, AJAX has the ability to load content inside DIV elements, wheter this content is dynamic or static, whithout the need to reload the entire page. So, put this, if I have a AJAX enabled web page where the content is loaded by AJAX inside a DIV element, and all the links are not as the common links (with AJAX all the links are Javascript calls to trigger some change in some DIV element) how will Search Engines analyse my content?.
With AJAX I can have a single page, like http : / / somedomain . com/index.php with no hyperlinks, only javascript calls and the content loaded inside DIV elements, so when a Search Engine bot comes to my index.php it founds no links or content, at least not all the content, in my site and leaves, although I have a fully functional site with good content.
    Any thoughts about this?
