Hiya all Did anyone go to the Airbus Family Days at Filton , Bristol, UK , it marked 100 years of the Bristol aviation company. It was immensly great with the 2 great displays. Im a Air Cadet and we were doing car parking which was uhm.... interesting back to the aircraft, There was a display by the Airbus A380 which was doing manuevers you thought wernt possible such as climbinb, banking right at the speed of something stupid like 180knots and then it glided for a while..... Also the vulcan was a loud thing. When i mean loud i mean seriously loud. It breaks the sound barrier twice. It used 90% afterburners on takeoff and all you hear is some appsolute massive roar from the engines even if it is at 1000ft and flying at 250knots.
