AIM Checker - Lots of Traffic! - PR4 - Custom AJAX

    Hello everyone,

I am putting one of my favorite projects up for sale, AIM Checker (www.aimchecker.com).

    PageRank 4
AIM Checker is currently PageRank 4. You can view some nice stats from iWebTool:
    http://www.iwebtool.com/domain_lookup?domain=aimchecker.com

    February Stats

I'm only showing those February stats because something went wrong with my cPanel and this month stats are all showing 0. I just noticed the problem (just a server problem is seems) and I'm taking steps to get it fixed.

    Custom AJAX!
This site has custom ajax built in. Although the layout isn't currently that "Web 2.0", the AJAX and actual application would probably be considered 2.0. All of the stats on the page update on the fly (every 10 seconds) and when you do a search it finds related screennames on the fly as well as you type. Test it out to see what I'm talking about.

    StatusImage
One of the most popular features on the site is the StatusImage. Do a search for "stickycarrots" and then, once the status comes up, click Update HTML Code. The status image is generated, which can be placed on any webpage. It's an image that updates each time the page is loaded with if you are on AOL Instant Messenger or not.

Our Status Image has had over 1,390,000 views! A lot of those views came from a very popular and hott forum, WickedFire. I created a custom StatusImage for the WickedFire forum (example: http://aimchecker.com/stickycarrots.wf.gif) and it's used by a good percent of the users.

Most of the traffic for this site comes from MySpace and WickedFire. However, quite a few other smaller forums are also using the StatusImage, which is generating some nice traffic.

    Bid Information
    Starting Bid: $400
    BIN: $1,000

If you have any questions, please feel free to post or PM me. I will accept payment via PayPal only. I've sold quite a few sites here on DP and I hope this sale goes as good as the rest have.

    Thanks!
    Luke

I also have a new layout under construction that you will be able to take over if you like:
    http://aimchecker.com/newlayout.php

It is not complete, but it is included in the sale.

I had an offer on the script. I don't really want to just sell the script because the new owner would have complete resell rights of it obviously.

Starting bid lowered again to $250 to get the ball rolling and the BIN has been lowered to $750.
