    Hello guys.

I have this problem with Msn Messenger! My problem is simple. Msn will not allow me to add people or view their status if they are online. This only applies to new users.

For example, if person A wants to add me to their contact list and I accept, then I cannot view that persons status if they are online. I do not know thats wrong, but if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

I have tried uninstalling it and installing it again but its not working. Its an ongoing problem that I cannot solve!

is the basic windows messenger still installed? If you go to Add/Remove programs then "windows components" you will see and be able to remove windows messenger. Who knows, maybe that will help. The windows messenger that comes with Windows runs on the same engine as msn messenger, at least I think it still does.
