    Hi, friends

All i want to know is once a provider has selected to work for him (in getafreelancer) what is the next process i should do to make sure that he will pay me after the completion of the project. I dont know anything about the agreement and payment process in GAF. I have agreed to complete articles for him at the rate of $1 and he agreed. What is the next process before i start writing for him? These topics are not included in the help topics of GAF. Can anyone temme...Thanks in advance.

Here is the step by step process. Skip the ones that you have already completed:

    1. Bid on the project (guess you have done it already)
    2. The buyer then gets to select the right candidate (i guess he has already selected you)
    3. Now, you got to accept the project. If you are selected, you will receive a mail from getafreelancer saying you have been selected. You will see a link in the mail saying "Accpet or Reject the project". Follow the link.
    4. Accept the project.
    5. Send a message to your client, telling him to pay the full agreed amount to escrow (if you are not sure about escrow - escrow is a process where the client pays the money to a third party, in this case, getafreelancer.com. The money is held by getafreelancer.com, and you don't get paid at once. After the project is ended, the buyer releases the money, provided you have done satisfactory work. The escrow saves your back too, since the buyer has already paid the money into escrow, and he can't runaway stealing your money, only you will be able to cancel the escrow. Same goes to you, you can't run away too).
    6. After the escrow is made (you will again get a mail from getafreelancer), start your work.
    7. After all the works has been sent to your client, ask him to release the escrow.

And then you are done. Hope this helps.

n.b. If you are good at writing articles, contact me too. I might have some work for you. Make sure you attach some of your sample writings.
