Looks like the wrong forum for this topic, but I use Agloco.

It's alright so far. The software which has been out for a few weeks now is less than inspiring, but it's also the first version. It sits either at the bottom or top of your screen and is about the size of the Google Toolbar.

As for actually getting money from them, it's too early to tell how that will go. I have a little under 300 referrals in my account and they've accumulated less surfing hours than I would have thought. I still think it's worth joining - why not?

I have to smile every time I hear this. How are they scamming exactly? I would think to qualify as a "big scammer" you'd have to take more than an email address. Scammers they are not. Hopeless visionaries with a poor business plan, perhaps.

Like Mentol said, too early to tell. They won't pay anything 'til they earn a profit (if it ever comes to that).

Never did really figure out how it works; I signed up for it once, but haven't been back...especially since the majority think it's some kind of scam.

How can they be scammers. They haven't taken anything from you apart from your personal details. Have they done anything with your details, no, so how can you think it is a scam. Even if they pay you or not they haven't scammed you out of money. It was free to join and people knew that they might not pay us but at the minute Agloco have not scammed us.

I've seen a few people asking how it could be a scam. I suppose I can see 2 ways it could be a scam. One is they promise surfers incentives to build a network which is attractive to advertisers, and they could just pocket the profit.
    ...Possibly...
Oh and the other one is a bit more interesting even though I don't know how true this one is.

    http://www.dominateagloco.com/2007/04/agloco-scam-revealed.html

This is a blog post a few months old, and to sum it up they claim to have found a list of members e-mail addresses and passwords, which if you happen to use the same password for your paypal account (which I'm hoping you're not) you could possibly get screwed or something I suppose.

At any rate, scam or not until a member converts all that bs into some kind of cash it just seems like a waste of time and hard drive space to me.
