yes it is definitely against Google TOS. You must use the codes exactly as provided by Google. Alternatively you can opt for Google Co-op and ad your adsense account there. (example: http://www.dotian.com/ )
hmm ,, i can see that ,, but i didn't changed the code .. only the design .. it's all in one header anyway thank you .. (( it's not on my site .. it's on localhost )) !
Yup, that violates the rules. Unless you're a preferred account, which go to the really big websites which are mostly corporate-owned, you can only use the code they give you. They don't even want you to change colors on your own, they want you to change the colors within their code builder. From what I've heard, they have ways to catch modifications to their code fairly quickly, so I'd avoid using this.
I have a friend that was making thousands via google adsense and was banned for doing exactly what you mentioned OP. Don't do it
