Aggregate vs Channel Data

Can someone explain the difference between Aggregate and Channel Data?

I'm assuming Aggregate shows the data combined from all channels?

My Channel data shows more earnings than my aggregate...which confuses me.

The aggregate will show all data (ads don't have to actually be assigned to a channel). But I've never heard of an instance where channel earnings would ever be more than aggregate earnings for the same date range since aggregate always includes all channels.

Yeah its confusing - I double checked and its still looking like that. Over "all time" my channel earnings is higher than aggregate...

I seem to remember this issue mentioned in an FAQ at AdSense. That the channel data would always lag behind in days covered.

I was thinking that too, except the channel data for him is higher, not lower.

My channel data for certain days has been higher than aggregate data by 1 cent in the past (which I assume is due to a rounding bug).
