On http://thenewsroom.com I have made a decent amount of cash, but they won't send the check until I send them a W-9 form. I'm underage and I joined because I didn't see anywhere it said you have to be 18 to join. I would like to know if anybody else sees anything before I give them my social security number and they find out I'm 17. If it does say you have to be 18 I will just use my Dad's name and he will fill out w-9 form. It's not a big deal, but I would much rather get the check in my name and cash it in my bank account etc. So has anyone else underage dealt with them before? Thanks, Drew
I'm not sure, I'm from the UK and didn't have to declare my age at all, I didn't have to put in a ssn so maybe that's why, my check is on the way apparently...
I also didn't have to put a SSN since I'm not from the USA. And if it doesn't say that you need to be 18 to sign up with them it shouldn't be a problem right. Did you try contacting them? Their support seems to be pretty good so far.
