Do you think age adds anything to the value of the domains? I'm trying to sell a few 7-9 year old domains for as low as $9 but no one is interested
Oh yeah it does. If the domain is registered and old, if it hasn't been thrown around a bunch of hosts, it is essentially like getting liberated. Imagine someone in prison for 9 years, thats what I feel about domains that were registered in like 2000-2002 that are just expiring now due to the reg limit. domain age helps a lot with establishing authority, is easy to beat with more visitors to your younger site, but poses much more of a challenge to prospective people looking to get into your maarket because people won't want to compete against something that old. Put those domains to use! They've been imprisoned for so long!
Yeap it do help but it not the main concern yet . While most people look to purchase domain , the 1st thing would be keyword in the domain name . 2nd will be the types of domain extension . and the last one only come to the age of the domain name.
Could be because they are sh*t domains? Post them here & let the board comment it they are worth $9 or not.
Age of domain matters, but not as much as the domain name or the traffic from search engines. If you have a domain with 100,000 visitors from search engines, I do not think selling it for $9,000 is difficult.
It really does add value to a domain, because more established sites have older domains, naturally. However, when selling new sites or JUST the domain name to a new company, I don't think it matters too much.
Yes ,thats good. Old domains are really good .They are trust by the search engine . click here to visit Long term domains are trust by search engine.
