.com.au is domain name for Australia. You never heard? I went to that URL, but it take me to google and address bar show "keyword:" The "I'm Feeling LuckyTM" button automatically takes you to the first web page returned for your query. An "I'm Feeling Lucky" search means less time searching for web pages and more time looking at them
Janet put a space in the name so that it wouldn't become a live links. But it's confusing. There's an option when posting to not automatically parse links but if you don't know what that's about then it's confusing. here's a screen shot... This is tricky, in the early days of ads you wanted to explain why they were there. These days users expect ads and are grateful if they're not popups so there is no need to apologise - therefore - this ad looks like it's drawing attention to the ads and encouraging fraudulent clicks. My Verdict: Guilty
sorry to confuse everyone, I just didn't want to put a direct link to the site here. Anyway, should I contact them? I was interested in a link exchange with this site, that is how I came across it. Do you think that would be a bad idea do to this?
definitely break TOS for drawing visitor's attention to click. Nothing more than the word "Sponsors" & "Advertisement" can do.
Not only is the ads underneath the "Feature Ads" tab, but it's underneath "login", and "Place free ad" as well. Definitely an attempt to deceive the visitor, so a definite TOS violation. Janet, you can inform them, but I doubt they don't already know. It takes cunning and a devious mind to come up with that kind of "error", if you know waht I mean.
