Against the rules?

I'm not sure if it is against the rules or not, but are you:
* Allowed to pay people to post on your account?
Sorry that I can't use the search feature, I'm on a *VERY* slow computer and I think I'll die before the search completes.

PS: Don't worry, I haven't - and will never - do this, just wondering.

No, it's so that you'll have a lot of posts and be more trustworthy effectively.
(Gain rep, high post count so you look trusty and like you'll stick around)

 

Rep doesn't come with post count does it? I always thought rep came from those who liked what you either wrote or commented on.
