Hey I have a quick question.. Say I have a site and want traffic for it etc. etc. So I do some advertising. I Advertise at a site where I can get say 1k uv a day from them.

What they do is put my link in an advertisement and when 1k in uv's have gone to my site they stop it.

    Is this against google TOS?

It drive me a lot of traffic and some money from google.. more then I spend on advertising.

    What do you think?

Can you share the medium of advertising and who are they (i might also want to advertise with these guys, if its worth).

And it does not look against the TOS of google.

You'd better not use it unless you read good feedbacks

Pretty risky I would say. Sudden increase in traffic & revenue could alert google. Just stay away from buying traffic this way.

Artificial traffic generating is against TOS , depends upon what they are doing for give you traffic ... its strange

main fun is ... if they have real traffic then don't want to sell anyone , a donkey can make money from good traffic

I read the person's feedbacks.. no negative ones. and I have asked other people who have used it for there opinion but no one has gotten back to me about it. and really no one has left much feed back about the offer and/or none have complained in the thread either..

You can alert google to say that you are expecting a increase in traffic which I did actually.

But you do recommend against getting traffic this way. Does anyone else agree with him. ??

But how is this artificial traffic? Someone puts a banner on someones site and people click though to it.. That is not artificial. They have a high traffic site.. they say they can deliever xxxx to xxxx in traffic a day min and max then no more and I accept that.. I do not think that its fake traffic then.

I am not sure what the second half of your paragraph is supposed to mean.

just you think if you have real traffic, will you sell this ? anybody can make more money from affiliate program or with contextual publisher marketing like adsense

EDIT>> so the selling traffic should be worthless or fake

don't use "fake" traffic on adsense website. You will pay for it with your account....as in it will be taken from you.

Don't use autosurfs, traffic "redirection" services, expired domain traffic, manual surfs, and/or anything else that generates an obscene amount of crappy traffic.

If this method really gives you interested visitors, it is better if you use a CPA program on you site, this will generate more $$

all you are doing is buying banner space on a website? all of the clicks are naturally generated? if there is no click trading scheme going on, i don't see it being a problem with google.

but the quality of the traffic could be a problem... if it doesn't convert for the adwords advertisers on your site, your epc will go down, and it might even affect your ctr:

"Here some interesting numbers: Before Google search-originated visitors disappeared, clickthrough rates on Master New Media were as high as 18-20% and above. After the Google penalization average CTR is down to around 5%." http://www.masternewmedia.org/indep...d-redirects-MasterNewMedia-story-20070817.htm
