Do you have to wait 60 days before you can resell it anywhere?

Can you really flip a domain without doing anything to it first??

You don't have to wait. The only thing is that you can't transfer the domain to another registrar in the first 60 days of registration. So your actual registrar should allow domain push to be able to flip it.

yup, you need to wait at least 60 days before you can transfer to another registrar.

unless you register at a relatively popular registrar, it may be hard to push it to someone who is unwilling to get a new acct

I have used GoDaddy for 90% of my domains (not much only 10 or so) and I have used them for 1 domain transfer. So far no complaints! I evern called their customer support for a technical question and they knew what they were talking about.

I have XXXX domains and have moved most away from GD to Moniker.
That said I do keep a few there to stay enlightened.
Remember if you ever make any change to your registrant/contact info you must wait another 60 days before you can transfer out.
    Good Luck

Godaddy is good for registration (discount codes are everywhere)

But, I'd have your site hosted elsewhere.
