I found this interesting article. After vista, there is supposed to be Windows Vienna. This site is in russian. I took the liberty of babelfishing it. hope they won't get mad. http://www.vse-srazu.com/2007/08/12/windows_vienna.html Code (markup): I suggest that you make your grandmother leave the room before you go to the site though, since they are really taking advantage of the adult ads.
Pretty old news. First it was called blackcomb, then vienna, and not 7. Can't guess what lame name would they get next.
After all the delays there was with Vista, I'll be really surprised if Microsoft's next OS is publicly released as early as 2009.
and guess where the next windows is developed. India!!! Horray for all employes in the Redmond office they dont need to develope Windows anymore http://arstechnica.com/journals/mic...a-takes-over-portion-of-windows-7-development
Two good bits of news in this article: "...in Vienna will be completely changed the user interface, to which we all privykli." A good point. I think we all currently privykli to the user interface right? Well I certainly do. And... "...new concept of interface, based on a ten-year study of laboratory Vibe" This is excellent news as current interface problems are due primarily the them being based on the previous longest study into laboratory Vibe which went on for only 2 and a half years.
I was not aware with Vienna but very will get very exciting at the time of release. Windows Vista is also better
