After submitting my site to google and successfully verifying it. Do I or can I remove tha <meta tag> that google asked me to put on my page for the verification??
Yes, keep the verification tag. And in addition to using Webmasters Tools, there is a wealth of information for you in Google Analytics. Make sure to make good use of all the free tools that Google provides.
You should not removed the meta tag given by google webmaster tool because they use it to get the data and posted it on your google webmaster tool.
Ah ok, I just thought its just for one time verification heheh. Just being a neat freak i guess. Thanks for the input
Hello, hi everyone does anybody can give a information about no follow or do follow links..and whats the meaning of do follow or nofollow links. please give me a suggestion as soon as possible. Thanks, Noel Christian
That's hilarious! As others say keep it - from what I have read each page can have a seperate V code - but I have not tested that yet - anyone else done so? nofollow means the spiders/bots supposedly don't follow links - either all links if in meta tags - or just your specified individual links. follow commands don't really need to be used in meta tags for Google and most of the top search engines as unless there is a nofollow command it is pretty much automatic. Can't help to use them though I suppose (as there might be a search engine somewhere programed to need it). "all" can also be part of the "follow" command.
do follow links= spider bot will find the links while nofollow=bot will not find the link , it is simple as that..,there are many blog and forum are dofollow links, make sure you check it out.
reiterated very well in a condensed form - well done zgerm - though I missed out the word not in my last post - so I leave it viewers to work out where!?!?
