After submitting comment on my wordpress blog (digmlm.com ) no verification comes like "Your comment is awaiting moderation" or "Your Comment is Published" ..... Can any one please tell me how to do so....
You have your install of wordpress setup to automatically approve all comments, this is the default. To change it: log into wp-admin, on the bottom left there is Settings, click that and then click Discussion. On that page there is an option called 'An administrator must always approve the comment' - tick the box and click Save.
I maybe wrong on this and have not tried this but take a look at this link for information on how to do this. http://codex.wordpress.org/Combating_Comment_Spam#Moderate_All_Comments Look at this section: Inform Users When Comments are Moderated If this works, let us know. Also backup your blog before editing any files. You could also wait for a better solution. I did not check the wordpress code index to see if there was a plugin for this.
@rahulsonar 1. I don't know what is mail function & how to enabled it on my server ! 2.I Have already checked the option suggested by Deacalion ? But nothing happened, Please help
Well, Admins Can Submit Comment with out moderation!! Try Logginout And Posting a comment!! Make sure that option is Checked!! ~Exp~
@extremephp I Have already posted some comment after logging out but still there is no verification comes like "Your comment is awaiting moderation" or any thing else only the page is reloaded.
mail function is a php function, which is disabled by a few web host. This rarely happens, but you should check this also.. -------------- I tried to post a comment, http://www.digmlm.com/lose-weight-and-enjoy-a-healthier-life not posted.. and also did not receive any message that the comment is under moderation...... Go to settings --> Discussion and check if the comments are to be moderated or not.
