After repairing hacked site, now adsense showing payday loan ads

I was not thrilled to find my wordpress based golf blog at HookedOnGolfBlog.com was hacked today. Somehow they put in a redirect which would send the user to a payday loan site if my home button was clicked.

I believe I successfully undid the hack by reuploading the core wordpress files and changing my password etc. Now the redirect is gone.

But now on my home page I'm seeing cash advance and payday loan ads. On other pages I'm seeing golf related ads as they should be.

SO am I still hacked or is this a residual since google may have crawled or seen my history which went to payday loan sites?

Note: My google ads are in the top header and the two 300x250 spots in the right column. They're not the two 160x600's in the upper right column.

    Any input is appreciated.

I think it is residual until adsense crawl bot comes back to your pages, but the real problem is not knowing how the hacker got in, probably means he can get back in.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. I had other plans for today, but I'm going to dive into the security a bit more and check file permissions etc.
