For one sites I had 1 impression for the day (lol) 1 click, a page eCPM of $3,522.40 and made $3.52 off that click. =] I haven't made anything off adsense but about a dollar a day, but today, I raised my bar.. I pretty shocked that my least popular website was the site that got me the most off one click.. But, oh well, I'm kinda sick of only making a couple cents a day.. =[
So whats the eCPM mean exactly? It's an estimation of what? For some reason I'm under the impression that if you get 1000+ impressions you are earning that much? Am I correct?
i am getting daily 1$ per click regular from my blog.and i am getting daily many clciks while its traffic is not good.
"eCPM" stands for "estimated Cost Per Mille", where "Mille" means "thousand" (as in millennium). Really, the "Cost" should be called "Earnings", because eCPM is an estimate of how much money you would make per thousand page impressions. So, if you had, say, 136 page impressions and made $0.42, then your eCPM would be (1000/136)×$0.42 = $3.09, i.e. at your current performance, you'd expect to make $3.09 for every 1000 page impressions. eCPM is a good way to compare AdSense performance across different websites. It effectively shows the "earning potential" of each site. For instance, I have three sites at the moment, and my eCPMs, averaged over all time, are $0.15, $0.00, and $0.00. So, I know that one website sucks, and the other two are bloody diabolical.
