whats the current conversion rate for vistaonxp?

 

The current absolute average conversion rate is 1:50

One affiliate has 1:15! And over 10 sales.

Others have it lower.

Yesterday I had 4 new affiliates, each sent 20-40 hits and EACH HAD A SALE!

This sells like mad

I've just sent 2 iPhones, one to an affiliate that sent 60+ sales, the other to another 100th customer.

This is the first issue we have this. Very interesting, but works for me and 10 other people.

I'm not really very interested in having an iPhone (I'd sell it if I got it) but it looks like an interesting product to promote - I'll see if I can put a little time into it...

 

The iPhone is there just for sport.

We're now developing a flash version of the sites to increase conversions.

Edit: Wow, I just now need to send 100 sales. I think it would probably quicker to buy my self one at the rate i'm affiliate selling things. Sounds good your website. One thing tho, i would just make the images smaller. I don't no why but i personally think that website where the images look massive in compared to the text don't look as good, just what I thourght.

One more thing I would add more text about the product you are promoting, there doesn't seem to be much about it.

Other than that it looks a really really cool product, keep it up.

 

Also after looking at your page source code, i notice lots of images hosted by other people, so some questions:

- is this image stealing just to reduce your bandwidth?
- do you have their permission to do that?
- if you were to send me an iphone as I was the 100th affiliate as you say, how would you contact me? You don't have my name and email address etc?
- The one picture testimonial is from a guy called "Alex V" but why is his image called "Randy"?

I notice that in your affiliate banner ID, your text says "Make Windows Vista Look Like Windows XP". Shouldn't it say "Make Windows XP Look Like Windows Vista" instead? Just curious.

Also if it would be nice to add description of the product/software that you're selling on the sales page. That will attract even more users.

Yes we have permission. It's not a bandwidth issue, we hotlink the images to other websites, so they'd be kept in a single place.

Thank god for CB customer service. They loved the competition idea and gladly provide information with the affiliates' permission.

The guy didn't want to give out his actual name. I knew someone would notice that. Fortunately customers usually don't

 

I don't want to appear negative here, it does look like a good product, but I have just sent you around 300 hops during the last 36 hours and I did not yet get a conversion.

I'll give it to 400, as I am on adwords (yes search only so they are targetted hops with price in the ad etc) I'll then have to pull the plug. It would be nice for a 1 in 50 conversion.

I think I might help you with the adwords conversions. I ran a test campaign for 72 hours and had a 1:30 conversion. But I use professional software.

Please provide information on the countries you advertise in, the ads you are typing in and the average CPC cost.

Adwords is a tough thing, but very profitable when you get to know how to do it.
