After how much time I can bump my own thread?

    Please tell me is it allowed to bump your own thread after a cetain time period if your thread goes unanswered. I am not talking about Buy, Sell and Trade forum but what about other forums?

    The posting guidelines say:

    Don't "bump" threads and don't post duplicate threads.

    If you have not read the guidelines I suggest you do so at this time.

    But Sir for example if i started a thread like this and it didn't get reply even after 24 hours then you can't still bump. If yes it's ok. Thanks!

    Your best bet is to avoid bumping at all times unless absolutely necessary. DP is a very active forum; you won't often have a question here go unanswered.

    Guarantee by who? Where does it say that? Fyi not all posts are answered by mods of which kinda defeats the purpose for posting them. In some instances posts are not answered.:rolleyes:
