After Google Penguin & Panda Updates? Whats the safest ways to build backlinks?

    Yep, as already stated. Make sure on-site SEO and content is good then only build High PR and High Quality Backlinks. I've always found this the best way as you will rarely feel the wrath of Google's Zoo.

    Ensure that you have a good diversity of links. Whilst content marketing is typically the best way to go after high quality links, ensuring that you have some low-quality links is essential to ensure that your profile looks organic.

    Great article, Lee (I read your blog). Question: if you were slapped due to link over optimisation, is your site permanently flagged by google? If over 60% of your links were 1 or 2 keywords, can you now dilute the total down with other keywords? Should the previous links be deleted?
