as i see after editing some photo with photoshop the thumbnail (preview) keeps the same. i tried to make that photo editing again. but the preview of that photo keeps the same like how the original photo looked like. how to solve it? Thanks,
If you're referring to the geeking preview in photoshop, what version are you using? What are you trying to do? Is the geeking set to 72 dpi? The preview should at least be useless to use if you're editing thumbnails smaller than 100² in pixels. Zoom 100% or (Ctrl+Alt+Zero). This reply is just out of my head. So I'm not expecting it to be correct. I don't quite get what preview you're referring to. Canvas? Navigator? Stage? Output file?
Well that my friend I can't answer. There are probably tons of reasons why. Wrong file or wrong folder to start (just in case you missed it) and there's also the dreaded photoshop error not saving correctly.
turn on show hidden files and delete the thimbs db. I mean, if you care THAT MUCH. it really shouldn't be a problem and will refresh eventually.
thanks, but, even after i uploaded the photo to the internet it seems to be the same. the editing was to hiding some parts of the photo by pixalate them. at the thumbnail it looks like there is no pixelation. i will maybe ask this in other forums.
when you pixelate something your taking away pixel definition. now if you scale it down you make its current definition adequate. if you take a square, and are standing far enough away, you won't be able to tell if it is a square or a circle.
I think what the thread starter is referring to is within the image itself. After editing, the image stays the same. But my guess is still with the wrong file issue. Wrong folder, wrong file, etc. But this is just a hypothesis as many experience this due to unorganized catalog of files. Yes, like me sometimes.
You are talking about the thumbnail like you see in say the My Pictures folder in windows right? I've had the same problem, dont' worry the picture will still contain the edited pieces, it's just that the thumbnail isn't up to date. Usually after restarting my computer the thumbnails are updated.
thanks, no, it seems to be like that even after uploading the photo to the internet. nevermind. maybe i will get answer in different place.
