    The G directory usually updates about every month or so.

    Actually, no. Google updates the directory when it feels like it.

    IIRC, in 2004, it was only about 3 or 4 times for the whole year. I believe I read that 2005 was about the same.

    My site was added to the DMOZ earlier in the month around the 15th
    In in the Google directory already...
    About 2 weeks I might have been lucky to catch the update though...

    it took me 2 weeks for a water organization. :p the site is just about 4 pages, no ads and the layout is full of tables :D. So they didnt really need much time to review it... 2 weeks is still a lot i think. Lazy !!!

    One of my sites got into Google directory in a few weeks (2-3 I don't remember) Another one is not yet listed after a few months

    sorry guys i wasnt in the context.

    It took me 2 weeks to show up on google after have been accepted on dmoz...
    As i said it's not a big website so it's normal that it's "fast"
