After a keyword generator

    I have been hunting around the web for a decent piece of software to mass produce thousands of keywords based on a simple search. Hence if I type in travel it gives me the different variations and possible searches on this term such as;

    airfare
    airfare deals
    airfares
    airline ticket
    airline tickets
    bing travel
    bing.com travel
    budget car rental
    car rental
    car rentals
    cheap airfare
    cheap airline tickets
    cheap car rental
    cheap flight
    cheap flights
    cheap hotel
    cheap hotels
    cheap plane ticket
    etc...

I have not really found something that does this in bulk. There are keyword finders, generators but nothing that I can handle a large query and give me simple results in a text file.

    Any ideas?

Google's Adwords Keyword Tool is pretty effective if you ask me; and it generates average search volumes on the Google Network....

One option would be to create your own web based software. You can run the query in search engines as well as dictionary sites and than save the results in a text file or database as per your use. I haven't come across any alogrithm similar to this, but it is surely do-able!

    Thx

If you do write something to scrape results off the output pages for Google Adwords tools beware that:
    1) you're going to have a difficult time because it has a captcha and
    2) if you don't include some human emulation feature to delay between queries some random amount of time like a human would and Google detects you're using software to do it, they will likely ban your IP and possibly even your entire IP block for some period of time like 8 hours or 24 hours.

ok so creating my own software looks tough. Is there any pre-built software out-there or others are willing to share?

PS: A lot of what you're wanting to do can be done via Excel using prefix phrases in one column, base phrases in another column, and suffix phrases in another column.

Then write a simple Excel macro to combine them in various ways to generate all of the permutations in another column like:

    base
    prefix+base
    base+prefix
    prefix+base+suffix
    suffix+base+prefix
    base+suffix
    suffix+base

So you might have something like the following:

    Prefix:
    cheap
    best
    last minute
    budget
    low budget

    Base:
    travel
    travel destination
    travel destinations
    vacation
    vacations
    vacation destination
    vacation destinations
    airline
    airlines
    airline ticket
    airline tickets
    flight
    flights
    accomodation
    accomodations

    Suffix:
    deal
    deals
    package
    packages
    sale
    sales
    offer
    offers
    online deal
    online deals
    online package
    online packages
    online sale
    online sales
    online offer
    online offers
    deal online
    deals online
    package online
    packages online
    sale online
    sales online
    offer online
    offers online

Running the macro would generate tons of potential search phrases.

Will put my techie head on tonight and see what I can do. I am no technical expert so I would let you know the outcome

All should be good though  and I understand what needs to be done.
