    You should go with hostgator. I'm using them since past 4 years on small projects without a problem. If you're into some heavy websites then I suggest you go with VPS hosting.

    Host Gator just like Godaddy uses their own control panel over a true cPanel product for shared hosting at least. You may want to consider that as a price point because some providers still offer a true cPanel option as a standard inclusion in their packages. Don't just look at the bottom line price point on the main site page but get into the details of the plan and figure out what it is really going to cost you. Also, really consider support. A low price won't help you much when you can't get to support to help you get your site up and running should it go down.
