I just launched an affiliate system through clickbank on my site promoting BBO ADWORDS FORMULA through ClickBank and I am recruiting new Affiliates. Although the niche is very competitive it is a very reliable niche. The product is reasonably priced at $27.00 and the payout to affiliates is 75%. This comes out to roughly $20.25 commission before CB fees. I realize that most affiliates are seeking more commission or more payout percentage to make it worth their while. However, consider the state of the economy and the fact that you'll sell more volume at a lower price point. - Better buy now button needed - Testimonials needed - Raise price....ever heard of rubbish things selling at rubbish prices?
As you said, the comission is too low. Even if your product is cheap that does not mean that the conversion is several times more than if your product was $20+.... Its no rocket science, either increase the price tag or you will have no affiliates, good or bad this is the reality.... Good Luck...
well the reason why i am selling it cheap is to receive some feedback/testimonials then i will raise price, as i explained on my salespage: " Because this is a new product I am looking for testimonials. If you are willing to listen to the entire audio and then give a testimonial, then I will give you the product today for only $5." Anyone wants to try it out?
Good luck with this but I doubt many affiliates will push it with such a mediocre payout. I would flesh the product out so it worth more money.
the product is geard towards affiliates, and guess what there are plenty of them all over the place. So why dont you just give them some free review copies for the testimonials, a good testimonial is worth more than 5 bucks Dont try to be cheap because you will end up cheap and noone will join you....
Think of it this way, you're approaching marketers, many of which outdo you from swagger to experience, there's no way anyone worth getting a testimonial from is going to give you $5 for it - chances are they won't even look forward to reviewing even for free tbh. Nothing against you but it's just another sub-par ebook/info and your presentation lacks professionalism thus far. You're almost there but I suggest you employ a different way of approaching your outreach. You should be paying your 'testers' and reviewers, offer them links on your page, incentivize them, give 50 copies away for free if you have to - gain credit and get money, not the other way around. Good luck with the program, N.
