Affiliates - Seriously Make ONE MILLION DOLLARS This Week!

    Not really, sorry.

I only know how to make $500,000 in a week but I can't tell you how, sorry to disappoint you.

Anyway, here is a way to at least make some money! It's a really cool new Clickbank product. It's really a beginner's guide to making money online:

    www.SnapCrackleProfit.com

It is a step-by-step guide for people that are just starting out. It will teach them EXACTLY how to make a website, add products and promote it. It really is an informative guide that will help many people!

The price is set at $47 and you get 50% so you will make over $20 per sale. We are also running a really cool bonus contest that gives our top two affiliates an extra $2 on ALL of OUR sales every month. That's right, ALL of our sales.

So in November, if we sell 1000 copies and you are our top affiliate having sold say...40 copies...we will pay you an extra $2 on the 1000 copies that we sold, not just the 40 you sold! That's 2 GRAND on 40 copies!

We have an affiliates page linked at the bottom so check that out two. We are working on some more graphics now.

If you have any feedback, maybe PM it to me....no meanies please! Thanks for looking everyone.

    Feedback.......well where to begin!!

Use some of that $500 000 that you can make in a week to hire a professional web designer and copywriter.

50% is a joke......all you'll get around here is ridicule around here for offering that percentage .....and it's much deserved...

Your screenshots only show earnings from way back in January, why don't you post something more recent because it doesn't really matter as to what you may have earned way back then........ and I'm sure Google will be impressed with your adsense screenshot...

Just tweak peak your landing page a little..

It really looks like one from back 4/5 years ago when I've first joined clickbank. The sales copy is pretty good but the graphics are awful.

Your landing page is ok, you need to update it but that is it, post new things, and try to get a live video on it. That will let people know that you are really making the amount of money on your program that you say you are.

I like your style- your page is kind of tongue in cheek and made me laugh (the "old price" was particularly awesome). From a sales perspective, though, not sure if anyone would take you seriously and promote it cause of that. Good luck getting affiliates; I would promote this if I did MMO stuff more regularly.

I like it. I think you need to do some refreshing though.

It reminds me of George Costanza!

Thanks everyone for all of your feedback! When you guys say it needs refreshing, are we just talking about the graphics? I get the idea that the graphics are really bad, is it the whole spinning earth thing or the pictures on the website or both? What about the fonts?

It was listed for sale on Flippa but we changed our minds and decided to promote it ourselves though I haven't really started that phase yet. The site has been redesigned because at first the graphics were even WORSE...if you can imagine. I'm not in love with the look now, but I don't hate it either.

I really do appreciate everyone's comments and help and more would be great! Thanks again.

Sales page is not professional compared to other MMO products and design is below quality.
Why didn't you tell in your sales page that you made $500,000 in a week?

I didn't say in my salespage that I made $500,000 in a week because I didn't. Clearly that was a joke. Either I'm not as funny as I think I am or many of you have no sense of humor. I'm going with the old "it's not me...it's you" on this one.

Also, I realize the salespage graphics and things aren't good! I didn't realize it before but since so many are telling me now, I get it and I am trying to listen to ideas and fix it!

@VTTE: Really? $1,000,000 is far fetched for an MMO product? Are you sure?

Everyone: The product is a step-by-step guide for beginners telling them how to start making money. A lot of people have never even tried to make money online before, they don't know how to pick a domain, they don't know how to get hosting, they can't make a website, they don't know anything about affiliate products or resale products, they haven't a clue about advertising...those are the people the product was made for. It's a complete guide and it's a good product. Hopefully when they follow my directions, they will be able to create a prettier website than me!

I think my mistake was in the first post where I presented it to affiliates rather than asking all of your for your opinions and your help! Obviously I need some help with the presentation of the product. If anyone has any ideas and tips for helping me, I would really appreciate it and I appreciate everyone who has already tried to help!

    I'm going with this part.

I agree that having an old price of $1,000,000 looks silly. I'm guessing it's another joke, but it doesn't come across as hilarious, it just looks odd.

I'm not sure about this either:
Is that really the best part of buying the guide? That I can refund it? Surely the best part would be the actual contents, and knowing that I can now build websites...

Oh, and the headline could use some work too. It's long, repetitive and confusingly worded. Plus the font is hard to read.

I'm not bashing, but you did say you wanted some tips. This is just my opinion, and obviously you can ignore me if you want :)

    @Tiger

Thank you! You make some very good points. The 1,000,000 thing, I did think was funny but maybe "funny" shouldn't be what I am going for.

The "best" part of the program....good point! Didn't even think about it that way.

I am working on the headline now and the fonts. I really appreciate your help.

Again, I do like the looks.

First off, I would never even consider pushing an MMO product at a 50% cut though. Getting affordable keywords and/or rankings would either take a stroke of genius or a wild stroke of luck.

Also, I feel anyone with even a little bit of MMO experience would pass on this. At the top of the page you refer to this as a 'step-by-step guide.' That's great, i.e. a book to read as a one-time purchase. Further down the page though, you refer to this as a 'program' with 'members' and a 'membership.' A membership with 'No Rebilling' (is this a word?) means you're hosting a site as well? Forever? Not trying to nitpick, but many affiliates associate 'memberships with recurring billing.

But as long as your targeting absolute noobs, then you're probably okay now.

BTW, any more pics of Suzy Q?

Thanks John, I do appreciate your insight. What I am trying to do right now is take all of these ideas and make changes to the site. I should probably offer 75% commission, I am realizing that more now.

I'm not sure anymore what to do about the membership or the other offers, but I will try to figure something out. The plan is to target "absolute" noobies so maybe I should make some changes to the text to make that point more clear....I think it even says something like the program is for everyone or something.

LOL...on the pics of Suzi Q! I think I have another picture of her somewhere. I'll email her and ask if she wants me to hook you guys up...kidding of course. You could try to find her online...she's an affiliate marketer now (and a singer in decent band) and she uses her name on everything!

I think this is probably right. (Offering 75% commission won't really cost you as much as 75% of the affiliate sales, overall, because of Clickbank's intermittently poor affiliate tracking, you know?). I think that with a few changes, you might get a lot of affiliates and make a lot of sales, here.

Having read the whole of the thread before looking at your sales page, I was half expecting to run away grimacing or something, but didn't at all. There's a lot I like about it, including the good-humored approach.

The little things I dislike, that I think you really should change (nothing terribly major) are:-

    1. The globe and the dollar-bills (as noted above) - this looks really 1990's

    2. "Ph Balanced" should say "pH Balanced" - it's the H that's a capital letter, not the p

    3. The apostrophe is in the wrong place where you say "member's area" (unless you have only 1 member, it needs to be after the "s", not before)

    4. The layout/fonts and stuff could do with tidying up, but you already know this

Yes, you could make this a little clearer in a couple of places. "You'll be able to do this even if you barely know how to turn the PC on and off", or something? You could perhaps include two little lists along the lines of "What You'll Need" (which can be very little, stuff everyone has, can even get an amusing line or two in here) and "What You Won't Need" (where you can list things like "computer literacy", "internet literacy", "HTML knowledge", "much idea what you're doing" and so on). Not too difficult to incorporate within your existing copy without altering the currently pleasant tone much, I think?

Don't change your sales page too much and lose the "bonhomie" altogether because that's one of its strengths. This must have great potential! Just my opinion.

Thank you, Alexa. I have seen you around and I was hoping to get your thoughts. The typos that you pointed out make me a little sick to my stomach! There is nothing worse than a website with stupid mistakes like that.

I am working to try to update everything now and if anyone has any more ideas, I am wide open to suggestions.

To be honest, nobody notices these things, and they don't impact on sales at all. It's only pedantic writers like me who ever give people a hard time about this sort of stuff!
