affiliates ID=???????

    Hi all. I have another one of those newbie questions. I have found 2 affiliate programs that I think I like. I have the same problem with both. I have joined click bank and have a ID. Now in both of these programs they say to put you click ID in its place. Ok I get that. What i dont get is if the web page is live and not mine where do I put the aff ID?? where ever I put it, when the page refreshes wont it remove what I just did. I have ask them both for help and they just say follow the simple instructions. OK maybe I am daft. I understand with the banners and signatures and that stuff I put my ID inits place but what about the web page itself???? Feeling:confused::mad: dumb

    Sorry, apparently no one has understood ur question properly to give you a reply.

    what do you mean by "if the web page is live and not yours"?

    Please explain more.

    Thanks for replying!!!!! Sorry that i am not clear.Theere are 2 affiliate programs that I would like to join. I have joined others and in they had a preset area where you plug in you affiliate ID and press enter that places your ID in the apropiate places in the html in the web page then you can go about posting it where ever you want simply by copy and paste.. These two just tell you to get the Id and put it in. I say where??????? I dont know how to change the html, and even if I did its not mine to change. I hope that clears it up.
