Affiliates for non - USA publishers? (payment through paypal or directly)?

    Hi all,

Reading online it is clear that having adsense as one's primary income is an insecure basis for a business. Yet, finding affiliates that work even if the publisher doesn't have a US bank account can be challenging. So how do you do it? Any tips?
For Dutch publishers (for instance) anything that sends my money straight to my Dutch bank account could work, but also any affiliate willing to pay through paypal would be great. I need affiliates that are reliable and upstanding (no spam-like stuff).

This thread could also be useful for other countries, whether in the EU, or India or whatever.

You could do 2 things. Look in country specific affiliate programs. For the dutch those would be

    - www.testnet.nl (http://business.testnet.nl/affiliate-marketing/affiliate-marketing.html )

These are the big 4 here in the Netherlands

But if you have sites targeted to non dutchies too you could look at these

    - www.maxbounty.com (pays directly to your bankaccount in the netherlands and several other couries)
    - cj.com (sends a check)
    - www.shareasalen.com (sends money to your bank)
    - www.clickbank.com (pays thru paypal or check)

Those are the bigger ones and there are much more but it's a good startingpoint

    Regards
    Edwin

I don't want checks, they cost me a lot (i.e. too much) to have transferred into euro's. That's why I listed paypal and direct money transfer as the ways I wanted to get payed.
I would get with Amazon if checks were a reasonable way to get payed for me.

My site's targeted to people from all over the world, and the Dutch part of it is covered (bol.com).
    More ideas?

I have been with a lot of good honest affiliates pay by paypal - CPA Storm, Ourfreestuff.net, Offersquest, Clickbooth, Checkmystats, to name a few.

If you prefer bank transfers, Zanox is one worth checking out. They have lot of Netherlands based programs apart from International ones. Tradedoubler is another.

Maxbounty is also good if you have US traffic. They pay by bank transfer in many countries or local currency checks in others including India.

I must be missing something here. How come most of these affiliate networks don't make it clear in advance what exactly it is I would be selling?

Most of them have different types of prgrams - from free stuff and surveys to finance related programs. At least some would have featured their advertiser list on their site

I found it hard to use, as many advertisers refused your sites coz you are not from US even if your site pages are in english
Tradedoubler seems to be more accessible for European users.

    Cheers !

I checked out the ones on your site - but most did not give any information prior to signing up - and the ones that did don't offer products that would fit my site AT ALL.
