Affiliates for 'babe site' with good traffic.

    Hi

    Im looking for good affiliate programs for an adult site (not pornografic) featuring models, babes, celebs etc etc... I just cant get this site to pay out, ive tried all sorts... the site gets 20,000+ uniques a month.

    Ive never run a site with such a terrible paying niche, not sure if im missing the honey pot here so want any recommendation you guys can make.

    That niche is notorious for being low paying. I've got a site like that. Visitors usually aren't in the buying mood so it's really hard to get affiliate programs to convert. I sell a poster or calendar now and then, get a few dating site signups each month. Small stuff. And PPC (Adsense) pays pennies.

    I've been trying to develop adjacent niches that pay better and leverage the traffic from the babe site. That has had limited success as well. I think if I was to start again I would not invest much effort in this niche.

    Not sure if this will help you or not, but have you tried Adbrite or AVNads. They are both the same company just that AVNads is more towards to adult niche.

    If you want some quick info about adbrite so you can quickly know how much they pay, when they pay, how they pay, etc. then here is some quick info on them.

    Hope this works out for you. I must admit that I see a large majority of sites like yours that use adbrite or AVNads.

    The site in my sig has a couple free trials of adult related products. You get ~ $15 for everyone who signs up, orders the product and pays a couple dollars shipping for it.

    It could work.

    I don't know about using 'adult' affiliates on a non-pr0n website. Babes in bikinis and lingerie are one thing. But most adult affiliate programs go much farther than that with their products and banners. Personal choice of course. But I wouldn't mix the two.

    I tried Adbrite for quite a few months. Never sold any ad space and the run-of-network ads pay fewer pennies than Adsense. It's a tough niche to make decent money in.

    Thanks for the comments guys, i'll have a look into the things suggested. One thing I havnt tryed yet is using the ebay affiliate... might be worth a go if I can get the right adds targeted.
