Affiliates/CPM/PPC For Fresh New Site?

    Hey.
My sites only about a week off it's basic launch.
Now whilst It's a unique site, very content heavy and free. I appriciate that whilst I think it can reach a point where it has a high amount of visitors that I might not get enough visitors to qualify for many cpm programs in its first month or so.
My idea to support the site financial would ideally be through Chitika and Axil.com cpms.
I'd be using Chitika as the site will have alot of product content and reviews.
The cpms, as the site will have alot of articles, reviews, venue listings e.t.c. So I should be able to get alot of exposure to the cpms if visitors are using alot of the site.

Now I'd like to ask two questions,

    1. Should I simply wait it out and put some money aside to cover the hosting whilst the site builds up enough visitors to go with my desired affiliates.
Or should I find some affiliates who cater to smaller sites and try and use that to cover the site until it's larger? (If you think the second option then let me know of any smaller ones you know of :))

    2. I have a few questions on CPM advertising.
If the CPM provider has a good database of adverts. Is it possible to set different ads to different pages of the site?
So a user may look at the home page and then go onto the venue list and see two different ads. Would this count as 1 towards each 1000?
I'm asking this as the site combines a number of features breifly covered in other sites and combines them all in greater detail. So there's less incentive for the visitor to leave the site. So they'll spend time wandering around the different areas of the sites. So if the above is correct, then I should be able to get more unique hits on the ads and thus paid more right?

    Thanks for your help!

Why not start with google adsense instead and later move to Chitika ? :) Adsense is good enough for smaller sites.

Put adsense on. Even a small volume of visitors can earn you money right away. Later, when your numbers are high enough, you might want to switch to CPM, or maybe ADsense will be bringing in even more money.
