Affiliates be nice to the publisher

It actually appears now that we may have got the -50 penalty because we changed the hoplink destination to the homepage. It appears that Google is cleaning up our niche. Used to be 2 million plus results and now there's only 276,000.

In regards to iframing content. Yes I was stupid and forgot that it isn't duped, but that still doesn't change the fact that visitors see my homepage on one address and different pages at another address.

I also can't believe that affiliates think they are the bosses. That's like working at a car dealership as a salesman and saying your the boss. That's not true... sure they'll sell less cars without you there, but cars will still be sold.

I do care how affiliates sell my product, and I would gladly take less sales with ethical means of selling than iframing and doing whatever else some do. Now that may seem crazy to everyone, but at least I know my visitors aren't getting tricked or deceived in any way and that makes me happy.
