    not sure how this thread belong to google forum. however, an affiliate is someone who promotes product and services of his/her affiliate partner and gets commission per sale/lead. for example, if you are an affiliate of networks like CJ, LinkShare, Azoogle, etc, then you promote the products these networks carry and you get commission based on the sale or lead
