Hi guys, I'm a newbie with regard to the affiliate marketing.I just need some idea about these terms. What is meant by affiliate url and how do I get one in CPALEAD? What is meant by affiliate banner code and how do I get one? I need all these with regard to CPALEAD. Please help me and thanks in advance!!!
Affiliate programs use links in special format. This way they can find out which affiliate should receive the commission. Affliate URL may look like that: affiliate-website.tld/something.php?ref=your-id. Affiliate banner code is the HTML code which includes your affiliate link URL and image (the banner). It may look like <a href="affiliate-website.tld/something.php?ref=your-id"><img src="affiliate-website.tld/banner.gif"></a>. This code you simply copy and paste to your website and the banner will be displayed and commissions counted. These codes can be found in your affiliate account (search for the HTML code, banner code or similar links in your account).
Your affiliate id number is in the url from your gateway code that you post on your site. They dont have a banner code, but your affiliate url is in the gateway code.
