my thread was closed because apparently it was to an affiliate site.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=888326

Ive just done some research and my site is definately not an affiliate site. Also there are tons of posts in the freebie section currently the same as mine but none of them have been closed and some of them are new and others are over 100 days old.

I deem it unfair that threads are closed in a discriminatory manner.

I wish to open a thread on the same topic again.

Here is the site which was wrongly though to be an affiliate site:

    Thank You

If you have a problem with others' posts, report them, and we'll deal with them. "Affiliate site" thread closings are because you're paying people to sign up for an offer - you may not pay people to sign up for offers where you'll be compensated in some way (incentive-based advertising is the same essence as direct affiliate links). Affiliate links, referral links, and masked links (such as through tinyurl) are all eligible for an affiliate link infraction. Please read the rules and sticky thread here on infractions. Your thread, however, also breaks another rule - you tell people to reply if they're interested which is grounds for an infraction and having the thread deleted.
