Affiliate Thoughs on Recurring Billing Products

I notice that there are not a lot of recurring billing products sold through ClickBank, especially in the investment category/forex niche.

I'm thinking about testing a recurring billing product. The subscription would include:

    Trading Education (e-books)
    Signals
    Webinars
    Newsletter
    Videos
    Forum
    Indicators

I would price it between $29 and $39 a month. Give affiliates 50% commission.

Would this appeal to affiliates or are the standard products a primary focus?

I'm testing a standard product for the same idea right now at $97, but it's not getting any traction.

I'm wondering if a subscription (recurring billing) is a better way to go for this type of product, and if affiliates would promote such a product?

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

I'm interested in promoting some recurring billing products and I have a website that focuses primarily on stock trading that I'm working on... so I may be interested in promoting this product. I'm going to save it to my "to look at later" list ;)

Most affiliates filter out programs on face value by the commision %age so I'd set it at around 65%
Maybe lower it once it gains some gravity.

I'm definitely open to setting a higher commission percentage to start out.

Any thoughts on the Forex niche for a recurring product? There's about a half dozen recurring billing forex products, most of which aren't doing well.

But there are several standard billing Forex products that are doing extremely well among all ClickBank products.

Maybe I need to re-work my pitch page and see if it can sell as a standard product:

    Any thoughts?

Yes, I feel it's your landing page which is causing the problem. You can sell the most useless product with big numbers if you have a great landing page with strong headlines and call to action words and this is probably what most top selling money making clickbank products are doing. Additionally you might need to change your site design a bit to make it seem more professional.

    Give them something free.
Offer a limited time trial if possible.

The point is to build the list and get buyers. Offer higher commissions.

Forex is highly competitive. Show them brokers to sign up for etc.. And give them bonus money in there account etc.. If you can.

I also have a new trading product coming out that thought would work with the Clickbank recurring payment method. My only concern is I sell through clickbank now and I know there can be a lot of refund requests. The problem would be they can use your product for 2 months and still get a full refund. Billing on a monthly basis I have no problem refunding one months service, but if someone takes the service for 2 months they should not get the 2 months worth of payments back, after all if you didnt like the service cancel after a month, I have no problem with that. I guess rite now I am considering Paypal as a much better alternative.

Be nice to know of someone that uses the recurring billing and if what I mentioned is really a problem, perhaps its not.
