Hello, I have a site relevant to web development (90% PHP) which contains unique tutorials and small scripts to download. The traffic is mainly from google and directories. I have ~2000 unique visitors a day and ~8000 page views. I put a web hosting affiliate ads on my site, as I think webhosting is relevant for web development. However I only get ~20-30 clicks a day and which is worse only ~1 sale for 1000 clicks. I also have Adsense ads on the site which gets bit more clicks. What do you think, how can I improve this? Maybe other affiliate categories/products for a web development website? Thanks in advance!
1. Figure out your audience's geo targetting 2. sign up to a large affiliate network 3. place a banner rotator and test several offers to see which converts. You might be surprised at which offers actually work
I'll try the ad rotator. Currently I have registered at CJ. My visitors come from: 30% USA + Canada 30% Western Europe 10% India + Turkey + Romania 30% Other 150 countries
