I'm looking for a type of affiliate code/software that I can provide to people when linking to my site that will show me/them when someone fills out a contact form. I don't want to go with a full scale affiliate program as I don't want every tom, dick, and harry linking to me or sending me business (strange yes I know). Does anyone know of some software or script that I can give to people just to track when one of their prospects fills out my contact form? Thanks!
Affiliate program can deal with cookie. If somebody click the 'affiliate link' to your site and left and then come back with direct link, affiliate id won't be tracked. But if you only want to track direct refer (no left!), append a variable (affiliate id) to your link will work fine.
