    What works for you guys?

    Just iframing the page

or preselling with a link at the end (or throughout the review)

or selling with a link at the end (or throughout the sales pitch)

A site written in a professional maner , with topics related to the product you're promoting ; ex : if you're selling pet toys then have an article about funny pet names or how to chose your pet's toy according to its personality and with recomandations (here you add the link to your product) for a good pet supplier of toys.A proffesional site builds trust making it more easy to convert..one more thing : don't lie to your surfers, it's very bad for business.

Are you saying I have to write a whole bunch of articles about business cards if I become business card affiliate for example?

so essentially you're saying pre-selling is better than selling or iframing the affiliate landing page?

Preselling is absolutely the way to go because it builds trust , you'll also gain returning visitors and the conversion is definitelly much higher. And yes, no matter what product you're promoting, you have to find subjects related to it and write about them.
