Affiliate Software that works with Paypal Purchases

    Post Affiliate Pro, idevaffiliate, paydotcom, and a few others. You can compare them on my site where we've reviewed over 40 of the darn things :)

    Best? There's no best. People ask for the best all the time but it really depends on your overall affiliate strategy and what features you need and what sort of IT resources you have vs outsourcing. Then there's subjective issues like support quality, reputation, customer base, long term vision in the industry. Oh and check if they have an affiliate program themselves. Amazingly some don't.

    With all that said, we just gave an award (subjective yes I know) to Post Affiliate Pro for an Award of Merit in 2006, but there's other good ones out there too - it just depends on your requirements. Unfortunately the market is over saturated with solutions.

    Affiliate Pro, idevaffiliate are damn good. idevaffiliate don't offer support though...

    I emailed Idevaffiliate thre times with some questions and they simply did not reply however the software does look good and admin panel icons look good navigation etc.

    However I just cannot make up my mind which one to get Idevaffiliate or Post affiliate pro as this looks real good too with installation package if required
    Yes I read the reviews on certain sites

    Someone help who actually has the software or both post what you think

    Komrad - regarding directtrack.com, how good can they be if they can't even spell 'affiliate' correctly on their main graphic (they have 'affilaite'!) Things like that truely astonish me.

    Regarding Idevaffiliate - I have been using them for a few months, but have found a fundamental problem with it - it doens't work if you offer your customers a free trial with PayPal. What happens is that it grants your affiliate a commission as soon as they sign up for the trial, and *not* when the trial converts, as it should.
    Just be aware of this.
