Hey guys, I'm thinking of forgoing the affiliate networks as to avoid the typical 20% commission they charge and using some packaged software to develop my own program. I was wondering if anyone could give some suggestions on custom affiliate program software that you have used to start your own programs....some pros and cons would be great. Thanks, Sanzbar
I use TWSC Affiliate Lite - Version 3.02. I searched through alot of programs and read the reviews on all the more expensive ones. This one does everything I wanted and more. Best part is the ease of use. It is simple to understand and easy to setup. Best of all you get free installation of the software. I have not found any negatives about it yet, but I am looking. Kevin
Hi Sanzbar, You can compare several in-house scripts at Affiliate-Software-Review.com Haven't heard of TWSC - need to check it out. Regards, Peter
Go to alstrasoft.com and take a look at "Affiliate Network Pro". Not only can you use it for all of your own affiliate programs, but you can set up your own affiliate network, too, and make even more money. If you are interested in it, PM me. I offer a $50 rebate on it. Jim
Ultimate Affiliate Manager is "all-in-one" software that installs on your web server. The system handles ad tracking, auto responders, form generation, and affiliate management all with one affordable one-time fee of only $97. It seems to be the easiest and most affordable of the solutions I've found - make sure you check with your hosting company first to see if they can handle it. Have a look at the the free demo.
Ultimate Affiliate Software is my choice. http://www.groundbreak.com/ua_features.html it does the lot and we also use it as a cheap alternative tracking system for Adwords, it's worth it just to be able to do that. Cost is US$200.00. I am not an affiliate to it so this is an unbiased report.
Thanks Cyclops. Funny how name is close to UAM. I have contacted UAM in any case to take a closer look at their features. Cheers, Peter
